This event aims to strengthen the culture of occupational safety and health (K3) across all industrial sectors, especially in the coal mining work environment which often faces high challenges related to safety.
Opening Ceremony Activities
The commemoration of the National K3 month began with the Opening Ceremony of the National K3 Month on January 12, 2025. In the ceremony, the management of PT. Servo Lintas Raya conveyed the company's commitment to implementing an effective and sustainable K3 management system. The main speaker at the opening ceremony was the Director of PT. "The implementation of a good K3 Management System can reduce the potential for accidents and occupational diseases, as well as increase company productivity," he said.
Educational and Social Activities: Training, Blood Donation, and K3LH Campaign
For a whole month, PT. Servo Lintas Raya held various activities designed to strengthen knowledge and skills related to K3. One of them is "Training related to K3LH" (Occupational Safety, Health, and Environment) which was attended by all employees and work partners. This training involved contractors from both Mining Business Permits (IUP) and Transporters in the PT. Servo Lintas Raya area.
As part of the effort to reduce the risk of accidents, PT. Servo Lintas Raya held a session of “K3LH and Basic Fire Fighting Training” involving all contractors to be trained in the knowledge and skills of K3LH. This training includes insight into K3LH and Basic Fire Fighting, the use of safety equipment, and an understanding of emergency procedures that may be faced in the field. This training is guided by the K3 Service Company (PJK3), which has extensive experience in managing transportation on the Hauling Road.
Not only that, the “Blood Donation” activity is also part of the National K3 Month event as part of the company's efforts to support social activities and public health. In addition, PT. Servo Lintas Raya also carries out the “K3LH Campaign” which targets mine workers and the surrounding community, with the aim of raising awareness of the importance of maintaining health and safety in the work environment, as well as its impact on the environment.
Emergency Response and Driving Skills Competition: Improving Preparedness
To hone skills and preparedness in emergency situations, PT. Servo Lintas Raya held an “Emergency Response Competition” which was attended by all employees and related parties. This competition was designed to test how quickly and accurately participants respond to emergency situations, such as fires or accidents, and how they apply the correct safety procedures. This session was guided by the Pertamedika Medical Team (IHC), which provided direct assessments regarding the effectiveness of rescue actions and the use of Accident Relief equipment.
Another featured event was the “Driving Skills Competition” which was held for operational vehicle drivers. This activity aims to train drivers to operate vehicles safely, especially in difficult and high-risk terrain, such as mining roads. Participants were tested in driving skills that prioritize safety and efficiency. This activity also provided insight into the importance of road safety and defensive driving techniques.
